The challenge
Design and build an event website for 400 to 800 participants with strong performance. The site needed to show sponsors, the event timeline, team details, and registration forms while loading in under 2 seconds.
The solution
We built it with React and Tailwind CSS. For speed, we used WebP and AVIF images with lazy loading, code splitting, and asset preloading. We built animated components for the timeline and sponsor showcase and used intersection observers for light scroll animations. An automated pipeline handled image optimization.
